Field Service Technician


Summary:
The Field Service Technician provides mechanical and electrical support at the customer location for troubleshooting and repairs complex and sophisticated products, commissioning equipment and coordinating vendor and customer schedules.
_ Essential Duties and Responsibilities _
Set-up, adjust and operate complex test equipment to determine nature of problem.
Assistance in the installation, start-up of completed products at customer location.
Maintain complete and accurate records of amount of time spent on traveling and on-site work.
Perform mechanical repairs of equipment in conjunction with electrical repairs.
Perform a wide variety of highly technical duties to troubleshoot and repair complex welding systems.
The role involves extensive travel, could involve weekends, holidays, and overseas travel.
_ Education and Experience _
Associate degree in mechanics and / or electronics is preferred
Experience w/Siemens control systems is a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.02 - $28.00 per hour
