As a board-certified behavior analyst (BCBA) at Brookside Pediatric Therapy Company, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive behavioral assessment and intervention services to children with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations and functional behavior assessments, and analyze data to determine the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results tailored to each child's unique needs and strengths.
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective treatment and support, and implement evidence-based interventions and strategies to promote skill acquisition, behavior modification, and social-emotional development in children.
- Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and parent consultations to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and continuity of care.
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
-Oversee the implementation of behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing training and supervision to behavior technicians and other team members involved in direct client care.
- Stay current with research and best practices in the field of behavioral health.

Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly autism.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to developmental disabilities.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

This position requires experience in behavioral therapy, diagnostic evaluation, working with individuals with developmental disabilities (particularly autism), special education knowledge, medical records management, and familiarity with behavioral health practices.
