Novi, MI Reports to:
Director of Human Resources This position is responsible for handling and coordinating the Human Resources and administrative duties for the Novi, Michigan facility and supporting the HR department and employees.
What you will be Doing:
Assist and conduct onboarding for new hires in Novi, compiling all new hire paperwork, requesting IT equipment, inputting information into Workday.
Conduct offboarding for employees and necessary actions needed.
Process all background checks and drug screens for new employees.
Assist HR team with Workday - pre-hire process, job reqs, create job positions, employee changes as needed and process approvals.
Input pertinent information into ADP, Workday, Concur and 401k platform.
Organize and maintain personnel files (electronic) in HR drive.
Assist with admin help in ADP (timecards, employee requests); complete personnel change forms.
Prepare monthly census, employee reports and spreadsheet; update other monthly reports.
Complete unemployment responses and verification of employment.
Revise/update handbook as necessary; update job descriptions as necessary.
Overall HR support to HR team as needed.
Other admin/HR duties:
Plan and organize company-wide events in Novi (Christmas Party, holiday events, information meetings for employees, team building activities) and employee 'Above & Beyond' program.
Welcome visitors, maintain security and visitor badges, answer phone calls that come through main line/front desk.
Manage conference room calendars and keep room(s) stocked and clean for meetings.
Work with outside vendors and facility landlord on office needs.
Order supplies for office and employees.
Maintain kitchen (stocking supplies as needed and general care/maintenance).
Order business cards, nameplates for new employees, manages postings and employee board; getting mail that comes into office.
Other HR/admin.

What We are Looking for:
Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent years of HR experience; office management experience a plus.
Workday experience a must.
Experienced computer knowledge (PC-configuration, MS-Windows, Network knowledge, MS-Office) Payroll experience preferred.
Attention to detail.
Professional appearance a must, good communication skills and professional conduct necessary.
Analytic thinking and problem-solving ability High level of self-motivation.
Proactive, self managing and a take charge attitude.
Available to assist employees as needed in departments.
