Commensurate with experience starting at $62,236 annually We are hiring a Recruiter to recruit, research, interview, screen, and refer top candidates for job openings.
This individual will collaborate with management across multiple departments to fill positions in a timely manner.
How you will make an impact:
Facilitates the recruiting process Works with management to ensure timely understanding of current and future workforce needs and implement improvements to staffing processes, including sourcing and selection.
Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
Sources top-level talent and makes appropriate referrals to Hiring Managers to further screen/interview candidates for hire.
Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
Develops and coordinates internal job posting programs and writes job postings.
Develops and maintains contacts with schools, alumni groups, and other public organizations to find and attract applicants at events such as job fairs.
Utilizes internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
Provides information on company facilities and job opportunities to potential applicants Arranges travel and lodging for out-of-town applicants Performs reference and background checks on applicants Coordinates communications with applicants regarding hire.
Files and maintains employment records for future references with Human Resources.
Works closely with departments during new employee orientation Maintain personal contact with new employees through the new hire period.

Summary:
The role of the Recruiter is to research, interview, screen, and refer qualified candidates for job openings.
The Recruiter will collaborate with management across multiple departments, to fill positions in a timely manner.
The Recruiter is also responsible for managing and administering any changes to employees positions (i.
e.
title change, promotions/demotions, compensation change, etc.
) via the HRIS (Workday) as well as any compensation requests documents (i.
e.
off cycle and exempt new hire form).

EDUCATION and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or GED required.
Bachelor's degree preferred or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3-5 years recruiting experience required.

ROUTINE DECISION-MAKING:
Place recruitment ads as needed (newspaper, online, road signs, etc.
) Research and sign up for area job fairs as needed Plan and execute onsite job fairs as needed.
Order uniforms for student waitstaff and other dining services positions as needed.
Negotiate compensation with candidates during job offer.
Exempt New Hire- collect internal and external salary data to determine appropriate salary for all exempt hires.
Includes speaking with hiring manager as well as finance to determine what budget has been set for that position.
Once the salary has been determined, Recruiter needs to get approval from Finance and the ED and then from Corporate.
Exempt Off Cycle- Collect internal and external salary data for either new position or salary increase for current position.
Must speak with finance department to determine what the budget is for that position.
Analyze salary data for other campuses to aid in the decision making.
Once Recruiter determines the salary change, they need to let the manager now what the change will be.
Next step is to get approval from Finace and the ED and then Corporate.
