SummaryIn this role, the Corporate Business Analyst (BA) will serve as lead analyst and administrator over Pace's corporate product quotation process.
The BA will work with multiple functional areas - such as Product Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, & Program Management - to successfully manage the overall quotation process to help profitably grow Pace Industries.
The BA will be responsible to develop & manage the overall Business Opportunity Database plus provide analytical data and reporting to Sales, Marketing, Product Engineering, Operations & Finance to inform Pace's business development, selling, marketing, application engineering & manufacturing strategies.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities(but not limited to) Develop, manage, and optimize the Business Opportunity Database (BOD).
Facilitate, track & drive on-time completion of accurate customer quotations.
Populate & maintain BOD with all pertinent data for each Request for Quote (RFQ).
After RFQ kick-off, become the primary point of internal contact regarding RFQ status.
Serves internally as the interface for each functional area that participates in the quotation process.
Leads the effort to continuously improve the overall quotation process.
Leads routine internal RFQ status meetings.
Analyzes BOD to identify favorable and unfavorable RFQ trends and uses the same to manage business risks & seek leadership sponsorship to break constraint points.
Trains new employees as needed on Pace's corporate product quotation process.
Works collaboratively with Corporate Finance and Quote Worksheet (QWS) users to optimize & manage updates to the QWS tool.
Fields internal questions, comments, and complaints relative to Pace's corporate product quotation process and uses BOD to provide data driven answers.
Supports preparation for customer commercial meetings and internal leadership meetings by providing commercial analytical data and reporting.
Supports Sales, Marketing, Product Engineering & Program Management for special projects on an as-needed basis.
Develops, administers, and maintains a SharePoint site for effectively managing all pertinent quotation process materials.
Populates CRM application with pertinent data relative to RFQ's & quotations.

Qualifications Exhibit strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal and leadership skills to build loyalty & trust with all functions involved with the quotation process.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
A blend of administrative and analytical expertise, problem solving and organizational skills capable of effectively interfacing with many functional areas and levels of the Pace organization.
Have a proven track record of dealing with competing priorities, resolving ambiguities, and delivering accurate quotations on-time.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, Manufacturing or Engineering.
An MBA degree is a plus.

years' experience leading business administrative processes with a preference for experience in the automotive industry.
Exceptional candidates with other backgrounds will be considered.
Experience in aluminum High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) or other casting process desired.
Experience in a manufacturing business required.
Experience communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings.
Ability to keep the big picture in focus and to provide clear, well-structured, and concise communications tailored to each audience appropriately.
Must be able to lead and influence Pace team members in various functional areas.
Experience in IATF16949 requirements a plus.
A passion for great customer service.
Strong computer and analytical skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite required.
Proficiency with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application - such as Salesforce - is desired.
Ability to travel to customer sites as Pace facilities as required.
