Role Summary The Senior Electrical Engineer is responsible for design, development and testing of electrical hardware based on the electrical architecture and the electrical requirements within a project. Key Responsibilities o Development of core and/or application specific electrical requirements for automotive electronics. o Develop electrical hardware in compliance with Global Product Engineering Process (GPEP). o Verify electrical requirements at component and bench level testing. o Support rest of the functional disciplines with all aspects related to electrical hardware. o Perform complex work assignments requiring independent problem solving and decision making, requiring strong electrical technical competency. o Work assignments primarily involve senior/advanced level work and may mentor other electrical engineers. o Lead planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting of all electrical related activities for various projects. o Coordination of integration of core electrical components into an application specific electrical design. o Competency and mastery of the field. o Work assignments primarily involve entry level or intermediate work. o Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives. Ensures that facilities are in full compliance with all safety regulations. o Maintains regular attendance. o Follows safe work procedures; Uses appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE); Uses workplace tools and equipment as instructed; Reports workplace hazards, injuries and illness as soon as possible following event. o Complies with the requirements of Quality Operating System (QOS) Key Qualifications/Requirements Knowledge in electrical design, development and testing of automotive electronics. o Comprehensive knowledge of analogue, digital, power, memory, integrated circuits and microcontroller hardware design and implementation techniques. o Knowledge in electrical circuit test and troubleshooting methods. o Knowledge in electrical product development process. o Experience with customer interface for all electrical related activities. Additional Information o Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/ Power Electronics Engineering or equivalent (Master's preferred) o 8
years' relevant experience regarding the responsibility / activities (listed above) in serial development. Automotive electronic (mandatory). 08--Engineering F--Permanent/Regular
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Electrical EngineeringEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
